An Art Consultant, like Q. Hendree Art Consulting LLC, comes alongside clients to advise them on art purchases. This might include maintenance of an existing art collection or developing a plan for new artwork to inhabit their space: Taking into account several factors, including but not limited to subject matter, color, genre and size, etc. All of these advisements are based upon the client's needs for their space. For example, how the client wants people to feel when they enter the space, their budget, personal needs and preferences. 

You need an Art Consultant, as they are trained to not only listen, but research and develop a targeted artwork plan for your space. That means knowing color, artists, aesthetics and maybe even a little art counseling at times [LOL]. For example, a good Art Consultant is going to know what to put in a hair salon versus a law firm versus a medical facility. Can you imagine a cherry red pop art piece in a physical rehab facility? Yikes!!!

Yes and yes! Q. Hendree Art Consulting LLC has customizable, multi-leveled packages and seeks to work quickly and in a streamlined manner to avoid unnecessary and often avoidable fees to get the art into your hands as quickly and as economically as possible. As an Art Consultant, upfront transparency is our standard. 

Customarily, art will be shipped directly to the client from the artist or art provider, unless other arrangements are made. Usually, art installation is performed by a professional third-party Art Installer; however, self-installation is always an option by you, the client. We will strive to make it as easy as possible, even remotely.

Projects vary in length depending upon number of items, space size, artwork availability, shipping, etc. We want your artwork to be in its new space as soon as possible!

It depends upon how the collection will be used. If the collection is purely for personal enjoyment and not intended for possible sale or loan and doesn’t require insuring or a verifiable monetary value, then art appraisal is not necessary. However, if you wish to insure, sell or loan your collection, just like with any owned property, it will need a professional appraisal. You are responsible for securing this appraisal, as Q. Hendree Art Consulting LLC does not provide appraisal services. Appraisals help serve as an authenticator of the artwork and a certificate [a legal document] should be provided by the Appraiser by which to use for the insuring, selling or loaning process. Whatever its’ monetary value, Q. Hendree Art Consulting LLC likes to think the most important thing is your love for the artwork and that it serves its' intended aesthetic purpose. Removing emotions from the idea, conceptually think of appraisals as preparation and protection for all parties. For example, when insuring, selling or loaning a vehicle, home or jewelry, those items must have a fair market monetary value assessed before moving forward in the insuring, selling or loaning process. Subsequently, if something were to happen to the items, this would help one obtain the best possible monetary replacement value; though we know the aesthetic and personal value can never be replaced. On the upside, artwork is one item that you own that usually appreciates or remains averaged in value! And it is a great place to start as an investment.

No, Q. Hendree Art Consulting LLC does not provide art appraisal services. There are several local, national and international art appraisal services that we can help you be directed to and are encouraged to research to make an informed decision. You are responsible for obtaining your own art appraisals unless Q. Hendree Art Consulting LLC is advising a specific piece noted for its' value and lineage, in which case a letter of authenticity and appraised value will be provided to you. In seeking art appraisals and to better allow for a satisfactory choice; an independent, unaffiliated and thorough appraisal by a licensed and trained professional should be sought. Please be aware that independently and when using third party services, Q. Hendree Art Consulting LLC and aforementioned third parties are required to be insured just like any operating place of business. 

Most assuredly you have input! An Art Consultant is remiss in their duties if the client's input is not sought after and factored into the planning and decision-making process, even as they defer to the expertise of the Art Consultant.
